Thanks to maximizing the antenna size and using an external mount - we've replaced 2 internal and 2 external small-size antennas with 4 double-band large-sized ones, which should result in approximate doubling the drone operational range.
Additionally, you will also receive much better video streaming quality at the whole drone travelling distance.
Installing the A148 antenna on your DJI RC2 transmitter requires modification to the transmitter. During installation, it will be necessary to open the controller, uninstall the two internal antennas, and remove the two external omnidirectional antennas (if necessary - the removal process is reversible and it will be possible to restore them). It will also be necessary to drill two holes for new SMA ports on the top panel of the controller (this is the only irreversible change that needs to be made to the transmitter).
The antenna modification process should take approximately 1-2 hours of work. Together with the antenna, you will receive a detailed, pictorial and descriptive step-by-step manual.
