How to set an idle throttle without sub trim

This video demonstrates on how to set an idle throttle on the Runner 250 using the Devo 7, this will also work on the advance model as well.

By using program mix you eliminate the need for sub trim trick to avoid the flip of death.

This will allow you to assign your idle speed an unused switch which means you can turn it off to land, you cannot do this with sub trim.

Remember to still set throttle hold in case of emergencies - Be sure to set it for a negative value to compensate for the extra idle speed.

This essentially leaves you with a "take off/flight mode" and a "land" mode when you disengage the idle.

You still need to turn the idle switch off or hit throttle hold in order to disarm.
