This camera sees both Blue Light and Infrared (IR) Light with no cross talk between bands. It is most often used as a single camera NDVI solution for assessing where plants are located in agricultural surveying. By processing the resulting image, you can see the locations of varying levels of vegetation health and where there are no plants. Camera captures a photo every 3 seconds. For best results, we recommend a survey overlap of at least 85% front-lap and 70% side-lap and a maximum 5f/s (1.5m/s) speed for every 65ft (20m) of altitude (AGL). While the results from this dual-band camera clearly show where vegetation is located (or not located), this camera does not show differences in plant health as accurately as an Infrared and Red Light dual camera setup.
